The John A. Marshall Company is a family owned and operated business with a proud history as the oldest and largest office furnishings dealership serving the Kansas City and Wichita markets. What began as a family tradition in 1923 continues stronger than ever today with the third generation of the Marshall family leading the company into the 21st century.

Design Support

Clear and accurate drawings and specifications are the key to any successful project. The John A. Marshall Company has the talent, knowledge and technology to make it happen. Using state-of-the-art CAD software systems, we deliver workstation layouts and installation drawings to scale. The CAD specifications are then converted into factory orders that allow the manufacturer to ship products that are in line with your project schedules.

Working closely with your building contractors and architects allows us to implement a project on schedule with all the resources necessary for timely and successful completion.

Delivery and Installation

The John A. Marshall Company understands how critical a precise delivery and installation process is to a successful project. We manage the entire delivery and installation process every step of the way so that you have the peace of mind that things are done as expected. We coordinate all the key activities with the construction manager and trades. These services are provided with our in-house crews so that your management can be comfortable that we can meet or exceed all our commitments.

Delivery is professionally conducted with our project leads with all necessary permits acquired. We verify the product order against the delivery ticket to ensure accuracy. We also provide cleaning, repairing, or replacing of damaged product as part of our service responsibility.

Once the product is installed, we check it carefully to make sure it’s level and aligned, with all components working properly. We train your people on how to use or install the product, follow up to assure you’re satisfied, and make any necessary adjustment to your satisfaction. From start to finish, our delivery and installation services are a quality operation that you can count on.

Asset and Inventory Management

You have a significant investment in your assets and inventory. Your product needs protection and management when it is stored. The John A. Marshall Company provides turnkey warehousing, receiving and inspection services. We provide short-term product storage for pending installations and long-term storage of excess inventory. We can help you better utilize your assets and avoid costs by:

Furniture Maintenance

To help ensure that all furniture stays in good working order, the John A. Marshall Company provides ongoing furniture maintenance services. Scheduled maintenance services include inspection, repair, cleaning, stain-prevention treatment, and lubrication as required.

Should any products have warranty issues, our skilled, certified technicians will promptly inspect and repair your furniture on site or provide a replacement if necessary. We’re available to repair broken or malfunctioning mechanisms, reupholster fabric panels and seating, touch up painted surfaces, repair scratches, or refinish wood furniture. To maintain the long-term value of your investment after the warranty period, we’ll refurbish your products to like-new condition and match them your new furnishings or decor.
